Lake Effect Market is currently being developed as a project of Lake Erie Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Founder contributions support the launch of Lake Effect Market and may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Founder contributions are fundraising gifts. They are not currently memberships, ownership shares, or purchases of voting rights.
We are still working through the long-term structure of the market, including how community ownership, participation, and future benefits may work. Founders will be kept close to that process as it develops.
