Call for Artists & Creative Collaborators
We’re turning a historic downtown Bedford building into a community market, gallery, classrooms, and gathering space — and we want local artists, makers, designers, and craftspeople to help bring it to life.
This building is a blank canvas. We’re looking for people who can help make it warm, creative, useful, welcoming, and rooted in the community around it.
We’re looking for creative people who can help turn a blank historic space into a market, gallery, classroom, and gathering place with character.
Help bring color, story, and character to the building.
Show work, help curate exhibits, or be part of future art openings.
Shelving, fixtures, signs, counters, feature walls, and useful things made beautifully.
Help shape the feel of the market, gallery, classrooms, and gathering spaces.
Projects that invite people in and help the community feel ownership of the space.
Help design or create the wall recognizing the people who helped launch the market.
Painters, muralists, photographers, woodworkers, ceramic artists, sign painters, designers, builders, fiber artists, metalworkers, curators, teaching artists, students, and creative people with a good idea.
You do not need a finished proposal. We’re gathering names, ideas, skills, and possible collaborators.
We’re still shaping the space, timeline, and budget, so opportunities may take different forms. Some may become paid projects, some may be community collaborations, and others may grow into future exhibits, workshops, installations, or events.
At this stage, we’re gathering interest, ideas, and creative connections so we know who to reach out to as the project develops.
Tell us who you are, what you do, and how you might like to be involved.
This is an interest form, not a formal commission or commitment. We’re gathering names, ideas, skills, and possible collaborators as the project takes shape.
No polished proposal needed. A rough idea, a few photos, or a simple “I’d like to help” is enough to start the conversation.
